Works just as advertised on my new TMobile Samsung Vibrant. Just go into settings, then display, then TV-out and check the little box. Movies are surprisingly good on a 32" TV, near-DVD quality.
The only bug, if you can call it that, is that in portrait mode the image is cropped to fit the TV, leaving large black boxes on the sides. In landscape mode it's perfect. My wife was annoyed that her Motorola Envy can't do the things that my Vibrant can. She should have read the reviews.
